Genoveva Tisheva has been re-elected member of the UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women 2023-2026
Bulgarian candidate Genoveva Tisheva has been elected for a second consecutive term as a member of the UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women for the period 2023-2026. The elections, which took place on June 23, 2022, in New York, during the 22nd meeting of the parties to the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women took place amid great competition.
