Minister of Foreign Affairs Georg Georgiev to Undertake Working Visit to the Republic of Moldova
From 23 to 25 May 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Georg Georgiev, will carry out a working visit to the Republic of Moldova. Together with his Moldovan counterpart, Mihai Popșoi, he will visit the city of Taraclia to attend celebrations marking 24 May and to take part in the official opening of the Taraclia branch of the "Angel Kanchev" University of Ruse. During the visit to Taraclia, meetings will be held with representatives of the local administration and mayors of settlements with Bulgarian populations in the Taraclia district. As part of the visit, Minister Georgiev will also hold working meetings with the President of the Moldovan Parliament, Igor Grosu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, Mihai Popșoi, and the Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Cristina Gherasimov.

Visit of Minister Georg Georgiev to Egyp
From 21 to 23 May 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Georg Georgiev, will pay an official visit to Egypt at the invitation of his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukry. During the visit, a Bulgarian-Egyptian Business Forum will also take place, with the participation of companies from various sectors, aimed at promoting trade, economic, and investment cooperation.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr Georg Georgiev will participate in the fourth edition of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, to be held from 11 to 13 April 2025 in the Republic of Turkey
The fourth edition of the diplomacy forum, held under the theme “Restoring Diplomacy in a Fragmented World,” will take place in Antalya under the patronage of the President and the auspices of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey. The forum will bring together heads of state, high-level politicians, diplomats, academics and others.

Deputy Minister Elena Shekerletova to Attend the regular meeting of the General Affairs Council in Brussels
On 18 March 2025, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms Elena Shekerletova, will participate in a regular meeting of the General Affairs Council. The main topics of discussion among the ministers will include preparations for the upcoming regular meeting of the European Council on 20-21 March, EU’s legislative priorities, and EU-UK relations.
