Certifications and legalizations: charges and delivery terms

When an application for an airport transit visa or for a short-stay visa is submitted, a charge of 60 euro is collected and for children between 6 and 12 years of age it is 35 euro, unless otherwise provided by law, by an international treaty whereto the Republic of Bulgaria is a party, by an European Community/ European Union legal instrument, by an agreement with third countries or by a legal instrument of the Council of Ministers.

When an application for a long-stay visa (visa type D) under article 15, paragraph 1 of the Foreigners in the Republic of Bulgaria Act is submitted, a charge of 100 euro shall be collected, unless otherwise provided for by law, by an international treaty whereto the Republic of Bulgaria is a party, by an EU legal instrument or by an instrument of the Council of Ministers.

When an application for a long-stay visa under article 15, paragraph 2 of the Foreigners in the Republic of Bulgaria Act is submitted, a charge of 200 euro shall be collected, unless otherwise provided for by law, by an international treaty whereto the Republic of Bulgaria is a party, by an EU legal instrument or by an instrument of the Council of Ministers.

THE CHARGES COLLECTED ARE NOT REFUNDABLE IN CASE THE APPLICANT IS REFUSED A VISA.
