He specialized in the Federal Republic of Germany, the United States and the French Republic. He is a recipient of high state orders of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Republic of Austria, the Kingdom of Spain and the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, as well as numerous distinctions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Defence and others.
