Bulgaria’s top diplomat welcomed the Ambassador’s efforts to promote bilateral exchange during her tenure. In turn, Ambassador Vibulpanich expressed her appreciation for the effective support provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mr Georg Georgiev, held official meetings in London with the United Kingdom’s Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, Dame Karen Pierce, as well as with members of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Bulgaria in the British Parliament. 19th July – Day of the Diplomatic Service of the Republic of Bulgaria

Today we mark the Day of the Diplomatic Service of the Republic of Bulgaria – the date on which, in 1879, by Decree No. 1 of Prince Alexander I of Battenberg, the first structure of Bulgaria’s foreign policy administration was established. Since then, Bulgarian diplomacy has consistently defended the country’s national interests and contributed to its affirmation as a respected and dignified member of the international community.
