Ambassador Todor Kanchevski presented his Letters of Credence to the President of the Dominican Republic Luis Abinader

On 14 February 2023, Ambassador Todor Kanchevski presented his Letters of Credence to the President of the Dominican Republic Luis Abinader. The ceremony took place at the National Palace in Santo Domingo. The Ambassadors of Qatar, South Korea, Barbados, Vietnam, South Africa and Algeria also participated in the ceremony.

Deputy Minister Kostadin Kodzhabashev participates in the presentation of the declaration "Against the hatred that divides us"

On 16 February 2023 Deputy Minister Kostadin Kodzhabashev accepted the declaration "Against the hate that divides us" signed by twenty NGOs in Bulgaria, calling for a ban on the so-called "Lukovmarch". The declaration was also adopted by the Mayor of Sofia Municipality, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Deputy Ministers of Interior and Justice.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikolay Milkov participated today in a high-level meeting on "Responsible application of artificial intelligence in the military sphere". The meeting took place in The Hague and was co-organised by the Governments of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Republic of Korea.

On February 13, 2023, the training course "Economic Diplomacy", organized by the Diplomatic Institute of the MFA, was launched. MFA and UNWE sign Memorandum of Understanding to deepen cooperation between the two institutions

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the University of National and World Economy signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions. At an official ceremony at the MFA, the document was signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikolay Milkov and the Rector of UNWE Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov.

State administration increases efforts for Bulgaria's accession to the OECD

National representatives will participate more actively in meetings of committees and working bodies of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) as part of the increased commitment of the public administration to our country's accession to the Organisation. This was announced on 8 February during the first 2023 regular meeting of the Inter-Agency Coordination Mechanisms (ICM) for Bulgaria's accession to the OECD.
