Mariya Gabriel attends the 50th edition of the Gymnich Foreign Ministers' Meeting

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel attended the informal meeting of the Foreign Affairs Ministers of the EU Member States — ‘Gymnich’ This is a format for open dialogue between ministers, and this year marks its 50th anniversary. The main topics of the discussion were the war in Ukraine, EU —Turkey and EU — Africa relations.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Hakan Fidan will visit Bulgaria at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel

On 30 January the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Hakan Fidan will pay an official visit to Bulgaria at the invitation of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel. The programme of the visit includes a bilateral meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Gabriel and plenary talks between the two delegations. Topical issues on the bilateral and international agenda will be discussed.

Mariya Gabriel: Cooperation at national and international level will contribute to good practices and sustainable solutions in the fight against trafficking in human beings

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel hosted a National Conference ‘Preventing and Combating Trafficking in Human Beings: good practices and sustainable solutions’. The opening was attended by the Minister of the Interior Kalin Stoyanov and the EU Anti-Trafficking Coordinator Diane Schmitt. The aim of the conference was to show that Bulgaria contributes significantly and decisively in the fight against Trafficking in Human Beings.
