Political Consultations Between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria and Poland

On February 28, 2025, political consultations were held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria between the foreign policy departments of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Poland at the level of Deputy Minister.
The Bulgarian delegation was led by Deputy Minister Elena Shekerletova, and the Polish delegation by Deputy Minister Marek Pravda.
Topics from the bilateral, European, and broader agenda were discussed. The two sides explored opportunities to deepen trade and economic cooperation, including areas of greatest interest for investments from both the Polish and Bulgarian sides.
Deputy Minister Shekerletova and Deputy Minister Pravda placed emphasis on various aspects of security and defense, EU enlargement policy, regional cooperation, migration, and more.
Both sides reaffirmed their consistent support for the European future of the Eastern Partnership countries and the Western Balkans, based on the guiding principle of individual merit and individual progress in fulfilling the criteria and conditions of the process.
