Minister Georg Georgiev Met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Péter Szijjártó in Geneva

During his visit to Geneva, Minister Georg Georgiev held a bilateral meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Péter Szijjártó.
During their conversation, the two top diplomats discussed the active development of bilateral relations, opportunities for expanding cooperation in various areas of mutual interest, and subsequent steps to strengthen bilateral political dialogue.
The ministers paid special attention to the dynamically developing international situation and, in particular, to transatlantic relations.
Additional focus of the discussion between Minister Georgiev and Minister Szijjártó was placed on energy security in Central and Eastern Europe, as well as opportunities for more effective cooperation between Bulgaria and Hungary in this context.
The two ministers also agreed on the implementation of high-level and highest-level visits during the current year.
