Dragomir Andonov, who on 27 July 2023 was injured in an accident in Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia, was admitted to the Military Medical Academy (MMA) for treatment.

Foreign Ministry successfully evacuates four Bulgarian citizens from Niger with the help of Italy
After the coup d'état in Niger on 26 July and the closure of all borders, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received a signal from a Bulgarian travel agency about four compatriots in need of evacuation. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has taken concrete actions in close coordination with EU partners to find options for the evacuation of Bulgarian citizens without risking their lives.

Foreign Affairs Council meeting
Deputy Foreign Minister Tihomir Stoychev represents Bulgaria at today's ordinary meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels.
