On May 4, 2022, Ambassador Bozhidara Sarchadzhieva presented her credentials to the President of the Republic of Colombia, Ivan Duque. The ceremony took place at the Presidential Palace in Bogota. It also involved other countries with secondary and primary accreditation in Colombia, including Greece, Nigeria, Qatar, Mongolia, the Philippines, Hungary and Switzerland.

Our first diplomat is in Madrid as part of the official Bulgarian delegation led by President Rumen Radev. On 27 April 2022, political consultations were held between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Azerbaijan in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan. On the Bulgarian side the consultations were led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr Vasil Georgiev, and on the Azerbaijani side – by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Mr Khalaf Khalafov.
