Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vasil Georgiev took part in the fourth plenary session of the Conference on the Future of Europe, which took place on 11-12 March 2022 at the European Parliament in Strasbourg in a hybrid format. The debate focused on the 88 Recommendations of the European Citizens' Panels on “The EU in the World / Migration” and “A Stronger Economy, Social Justice and Jobs / Education, Culture, Youth and Sport / Digital Transformation”, as well as related recommendations from national citizens' panels.

DAY OF SALVATION OF BULGARIAN JEWS AND VICTIMS OF THE HOLOCAUST AND CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY

By its decision of February 19, 2003, the Council of Ministers designated March 10 as the Day of Salvation of Bulgarian Jews and Holocaust Victims and Crimes against Humanity. Since 2018, the Republic of Bulgaria is a member of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance.
