Minister Georg Georgiev in Luxembourg: Bulgaria Supports the New Democratic Pact for Europe

"We welcome the initiative of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Mr Alain Berset, for a New Democratic Pact for Europe. The Council of Europe must remain one of the guarantors of freedom, democracy, the rule of law, and human rights”. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Georg Georgiev, in his speech at the 134th Session of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, held in Luxembourg, where the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Mr Alain Berset, presented his initiative for a "New Democratic Pact for Europe".

With these words, Minister Georgiev addressed the audience during today's presentation of the publication "Togetherness of Religions and Communities in Bulgaria: Dimensions of Public Communication and Diplomacy with Universal Applicability"
