Bulgaria assumed the rotating Chairmanship-in-office of BSEC
It is an honour and a great responsibility to assume the Chairmanship-in-Office of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic cooperation. During the next six months Bulgaria will spare no effort to further advance the development of multilateral economic cooperation in the Black Sea region.

Position of the MFA’s Spokesperson on the statement of Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in the city of Keşan

Bulgaria and Russia signed a Program of cultural, educational and scientific cooperation
Minister of Foreign Affairs Kristian Vigenin and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Sofia, Yuri Isakov, signed today at the MFA of the Republic of Bulgaria a Program of cultural, educational and scientific cooperation between the two governments for the period 2012-2014.

The border delimitation in the Black Sea between Bulgaria and Romania was discussed in the Foreign Ministry
On 9 December 2013, a meeting between the Permanent Secretary Mr. Georgi Dimitrov and the Romanian State Secretary Mr. Bogdan Aurescu was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sofia in order to review the negotiation process on the border delimitation in the Black Sea between the two countries.
