Today, 20 February 2015, the seventh meeting of the working groups of ministries of foreign affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Macedonia was held in Skopje. It was aimed at negotiating the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperationand Good-neighborliness.

Bulgaria strongly condemns the shootings in Copenhagen which claimed lives and injured innocent civilians. This appears to be another terrorist attack targeted at one of our fundamental values - the freedom of speech. We will not allow fear to conquer Europe.

The Bulgarian state has never lost track of the events in Ukraine and the situation of the Bulgarians there has always been of particular importance to us.
