Political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria and Azerbaijan
On 27 April 2022, political consultations were held between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Azerbaijan in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan. On the Bulgarian side the consultations were led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr Vasil Georgiev, and on the Azerbaijani side – by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Mr Khalaf Khalafov.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Irena Dimitrova met with the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Turkey Faruk Kaymakci. In the course of the talks, they discussed the Russian military invasion of Ukraine, aspects in the field of security and opportunities for intensifying the bilateral cooperation.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Teodora Gencovska held a meeting with Donika Gërvalla, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo. The conversation took place in the framework of the forum “EU Meets the Balkans”, organised by the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats in the European Parliament (ALDE), the European Liberal Forum and the Atlantic Club, which took place on 26 April in Sofia.

Teodora Genchovska in Zagreb: the 12-century friendship between Bulgaria and Croatia continues
“This year we celebrate 30 years of mutual support and mutual assistance between Bulgaria and Croatia.
