Foreign Ministry statement on the situation in Syria

In connection with the current developments in Syria, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reminds Bulgarian citizens of the warning to suspend all travel to the Syrian Arab Republic and to leave the country immediately.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends the Bulgarian citizens residing on the territory of Syria to take advantage of the still existing opportunities for independent exit through the land border with the Lebanese Republic ‘Jadeite Yabus’ and by civilian flights operated from the Damascus International Airport.
