Statement by the Spokesperson of the MFA on the terrorist attacks in Yemen’s capital Sanaa
20 March 2015 News
We strongly condemn the terrorist attacks in Yemen's capital Sanaa which killed 140 civilians and wounded over 350 others during Friday's prayers in several mosques in various parts of the city.
We offer our most sincere condolences to the families of the victims and express our profound indignation at the use of aggression and violence to address confessional, tribal and political
differences.
Yemen's society, representatives of various political parties and participants in Yemen‘s National political dialogue must normalize the domestic political process and return to the negotiating table. The big challenges confronting the nation should be addressed by using the instruments of constructive dialogue and political pluralism in order to preserve the country's territorial integrity and establish stability and security.
