Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs will organise the election process abroad transparently and professionally

This was said by Ambassador Radi Naydenov, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and chairman of the working group organising elections abroad, at a briefing on August 12 2011. Also attending the briefing were Svetlan Stoev, administrative secretary, and Krassimir Bozhinov, director of the legal affairs directorate. They informed journalists about the legal and practical aspects of the upcoming elections abroad of the President and Vice President of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Radi Naydenov said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs experts were actively involved in preparation of the new Electoral Code and in drafting standards for the election process abroad. He emphasised that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Bulgarian diplomatic missions abroad would focus their efforts on achieving a high standard of organisation and transparency of the electoral process for Bulgarians voting abroad
