Bulgaria ranks in the top 10 tourist destinations for Russians during summer 2013

Bulgaria holds the 8th place in the ranking of the most popular tourist destinations for Russians during the summer season 2013, according to the marketing system Tourmarket.info, monitoring the Russian tourist market. The tourist flow to the country has increased by 35 per cent this year, the data from Rosstat statistics agency shows.
Children holiday camping sites were most popular this year with demand exceeding the maximum capacity in Bulgaria. The camping sites were fully booked as early as April.
As in 2012, Turkey ranks first in the Top 10, followed by Greece, Spain, Egypt, Cyprus, Thailand, Tunisia. After Bulgaria are Italy and Montenegro. Croatia, which last year was on the 10th place, this year occupies 14th place due to the introduction of a visa regime with Russia, after Croatia’s EU accession.
