The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mrs Elena Shekerletova, received copies of the letters of credence of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Republic of Bulgaria, H.E. Mrs Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet.
During the meeting, the two sides marked the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and Vietnam, which is being celebrated this year. Both sides expressed readiness to further develop bilateral relations across a broadrange of areas of mutual interest. Trade, economic and investment exchange, tourism, cooperation in the field of education, and people-to-people contacts were highlighted as promising areas for collaboration.
