Regarding the crisis in the Middle East, the Bulgarian Foreign Minister underlined the necessity of returning to a ceasefire and securing the release of hostages, as well as expressed concern over the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza. He voiced support for the diplomatic efforts of the USA and Qatar, as well as those of other regional partners.

On the topic of Syria, Minister Georgiev expressed support for the implementation of an inclusive political process that guarantees the rights of all citizens and communities in the country, while upholding Syria's territorial integrity and sovereignty.
