Minister Georg Georgiev Meets with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to our country

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Georg Georgiev, held a protocol meeting today at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to the Republic of Bulgaria, His Excellency Mr Mehmet Sait Uyanık.
During the meeting, key aspects of bilateral cooperation were discussed, as well as our shared commitments as partners in NATO to ensure security in the Black Sea region.
Minister Georgiev and Ambassador Uyanık reaffirmed their interest in further strengthening Bulgarian-Turkish relations in the fields of trade, connectivity, the fight against illegal migration, and in other areas of common interest.
