Working lunch hosted in Prague to mark the start of the Bulgarian Presidency with the participation of Czech Foreign Minister

A working lunch for the ambassadors of the EU members and candidate members accredited to the Czech Republic was held in Prague on February 6. It was dedicated to the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU. A guest of honor at the event, organized by the Bulgarian Embassy, was Czech Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Martin Stropnický.
In his speech, the Minister welcomed the interest of the Bulgarian Presidency in the EU enlargement policy, which he described as the most effective tool for lasting stability in the Balkans. He also emphasized that the Czech Republic would continue to support the efforts for reform of the countries in the region.
The participants in the working lunch discussed the future of the EU, migration, other subjects on the European agenda and relevant international issues.
