To achieve peace requires specific actions
27 September 2011 NewsOn the occasion of the statement adopted by the Middle East Quartet, Bulgarian Foreign Minister Nickolay Mladenov made the following statement:
“During the general debate at the United Nations General Assembly, Palestinian and Israeli leaders expressed a clear and definite will to achieve peace and to resolve the Middle East problem. Now, however, will is not sufficient, it is time for concrete action. The Roadmap drawn up by the Quartet offers clear parameters and a timetable for negotiations. In expressing Bulgaria’s support for the Quartet’s approach, I urge both both sides not to miss this opportunity to start negotiations without further delay and without preconditions.”
