Because of changes to the programme and parliamentary commitments of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria Plamen Oresharski and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Evangelos Venizelos, the official opening of the Ambassadors’ Conference at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been cancelled. The event will not be open to the media and will be a working meeting.

News conference by Minister Kristian Vigenin
On July 23 2013 at 3pm, Minister of Foreign Affairs Kristian Vigenin will hold a news conference at the Foreign Ministry, Hall 101. The main topics will include a report on the activities of the Foreign Ministry in the first month of the term of office, the priorities of the leadership of the ministry and a presentation of the political team.

On July 22, the Foreign Minister is participating in the European Union Foreign Affairs Council. The main topics that ministers will discuss are in connection with the situations in Syria, Egypt, Congo and Somalia, the security of water supply and the human rights situation.
