Kristian Vigenin will be on a one day working visit to the Republic of Greece
17 October 2013 Diplomatic CalendarMinister of Foreign Affairs Kristian Vigenin will be on a working visit to the Republic of Greece on 17 October. The program of the visit includes meetings with President Karolos Papoulias, President of the Parliament Evangelos Meimarakis, Prime Minister Antonis Samaras and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos.
During the working visit, issues of bilateral relations and regional cooperation will be discussed, as well as the European perspective of the Western Balkans. Among the topics are also the situation in the Middle East with a focus on Syria and the increased refugee flow to both countries. Kristian Vigenin will discuss with his hosts also topics on the European agenda, in light of the upcoming EU Council rotating presidency of Greece in the first half of 2014.
