Minister Mitov participates in the regular Foreign Affairs Council meeting
09 February 2015 Diplomatic CalendarMinister Daniel Mitov will participate in the regular Foreign Affairs Council meeting, which will be held on 9 February in Brussels. The morning work session will start with a discussion on current developments of the situation in Libya and a future EU engagement and support for the efforts of the Special Envoy Bernardino Leon. EU Foreign Ministers will also take stock of the situation in Yemen, as well as of events in Iraq and Syria.
The working lunch of the top diplomats will focus on the fight against terrorism. The afternoon working session will continue with a discussion on EU-Africa relations, while focusing on specific issues and regions. The Council’s agenda includes also an exchange of views on the recent developments of the situation in Ukraine.
