Minister Daniel Mitov to participate in the official presentation of ECFR’s European Foreign Policy Scorecard 2015
04 February 2015 Diplomatic CalendarMinister Daniel Mitov will participate in the official launch of the fifth edition of the European Foreign Policy Scorecard 2015 of the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR). The event will be held on 4 February (Wednesday) in the Central Military Club, Hall 1, 7 Tzar Osvoboditel Blvd.at 3.00 pm.
The Scorecard provides a systematic assessment of Europe and its work with the rest of the world. It is analysing the performance of the 28 member states and the EU institutions on 65 policy areas arranged around six key issue areas: China; Russia; United States; Wider Europe; Middle East and North Africa; Multilateral issuesand crisis management.
This year, Minister of Foreign Affairs Daniel Mitov will discuss Bulgaria’s perspective in European foreign policy. The Head of ECFR’s Polish office Piotr Buras will analyze the Polish and German foreign policy initiatives during the year, and Ambassador Xavier Lapeyre de Cabanes will comment on the French policy and how it fits in EU’s external relations. The conclusions of the Scorecard will be presented by Vesela Cherneva, Head of ECFR's Wider Europe programme.
