National Geographic's Traveler of the Year Dr. Nadezhda Savova.
In between her non-stop roaming around the world, Nadezhda will pause in NYC (for about 5 minutes). She will talk about her travels and projects and will share countless photo slides. Nadezhda recently received a doctorate in Cultural Anthropology from Princeton University and is the founder of The International Council for Cultural Centers (I3C). Among her multiple projects is the creation of a worldwide network of community bread-making houses. In Nadezhda's words “Making bread is extremely low-cost and merely takes time, creating the perfect opportunity to talk, listen, and learn”.
