Current situation in Egypt

In regard to the continuing escalation of tensions in Egypt, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends that Bulgarian citizens refrain from travelling to the country unless as a matter of emergency. It is recommended that all planned trips to the Arab Republic be postponed until the situation in the country has normalised. It is strongly recommended that Bulgarian citizens living in or visiting Egypt avoid places where there are large gatherings of people and do not take photographs at rallies, protests and demonstrations.
