The Serbian ambassador in Sofia, Željko Jović was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the occasion of the Serbian authorities' actions against the prominent Bulgarian intellectual Edvin Sugarev
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Serbia in Sofia, Željko Jović, was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today by the Director General for European Affairs, Yordan Parvanov. The occasion was the refusal of the Serbian border authorities to allow the prominent Bulgarian intellectual and public figure Edvin Sugarev to enter the territory of Serbia on 8 November 2023, as well as the confiscation of his books by the local law enforcement authorities from the Bulgarian Cultural Information Centre in Bosilegrad.

Chicago City Council adopted a resolution on the occasion of 120 years of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and the USA
During its session on November 7, City Council of Chicago unanimously adopted a resolution on the occasion of 120 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and the USA. The document notes that Bulgaria was admitted into and permitted to display an exhibit at the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago, an event hailed by the Chicago Tribune as the first diplomatic recognition accorded to Bulgaria as an independent state. The author Aleko Konstantinov and his travelogue "To Chicago and Back" is recognized as an inspiration to generations of Bulgarian emigrants

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel: Bulgarian citizens and their family members evacuated from Gaza are already in Bulgaria
"A total of 30 of the 36 Bulgarian citizens and their family members who were successfully evacuated with the first possible group from Gaza to Egypt are already in Bulgaria. Coordinated efforts continue for the successful transportation to Bulgaria of the Bulgarian citizens and their families evacuated from Gaza Strip
Following the successful withdrawal from Gaza Strip on 1 November this year in the first possible group of 36 Bulgarian citizens and their family members, the coordinated efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Bulgarian Embassy in Cairo to transport them to Bulgaria are continuing.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel met with Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass during her working visit to the city. Karen Bass is the first female mayor in the city's 242-year history. He represented the State of California in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2011 — 2022.
