Farewell Meeting of the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr Georg Georgiev, with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden, H.E. Ms Katarina Rangnitt
Today, 05.08.2025, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Georg Georgiev, held a farewell meeting with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to Bulgaria, Her Excellency Ms Katarina Rangnitt. Minister Georgiev acknowledged the significant efforts made by Ambassador Rangnitt to strengthen bilateral cooperation and took the opportunity to extend his gratitude for Sweden's provision of specialised aircraft that participated in fighting the forest fires in the Pirin region.

On the occasion of the Day of the Bulgarian Diplomatic Service, Minister of Foreign Affairs Georg Georgiev delivered an address at a formal reception held at the Boyana Residence. In the presence of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, the Prime Minister, members of the diplomatic corps, ministers, and members of parliament, Minister Georgiev underscored the importance of professionalism and continuity in Bulgaria’s foreign policy.

On 22 July 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Georg Georgiev, held a farewell meeting with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Bulgaria (resident in Bucharest), Her Excellency Dao Vibulpanich.
