The highest voter turnout abroad in the national referendum by 3pm Bulgarian time was in Brussels, where 205 citizens voted. In London, 161 voted and 152 voted in Madrid.

Minister Nickolay Mladenov took part in the first EU-CELAC meeting

Iraq has need of Bulgaria’s experience
If other citizens of Iraq had the same social benefits – stability, regular electricity supply, development – as those in the Kurdistan Region, it would help the entire political process in the country. Significant progress in post-monitoring dialogue between PACE and Bulgaria
The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, in the first part of its regular session in 2013, held on January 22 in Strasbourg, adopted a resolution on continuing post-monitoring dialogue with Bulgaria. Taking into account the progress made by Bulgaria, the areas being monitored are reduced to three: reform of the judicial system, changes to the Electoral Code, media freedom and transparency in media ownership.
