Exchange of ratification documents of two treaties between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Kingdom of Morocco held at the MFA

Today at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria a ceremony was held on the exchange of the ratification documents of two treaties between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Kingdom of Morocco: Agreement on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters and Extradition Treaty, signed in the city of Rabat on 15 March 2005.
On behalf of the Kingdom of Morocco, the protocols on the exchange of the ratification documents were signed by Her Excellency Ambassador Latifa Aharbash, and on behalf of the Bulgarian side – by Ambassador Petko Dimitrov, Director of the " Middle East and Africa" Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Todor Churov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
In accordance with the final provisions of both treaties, they will enter into force on the 30th day after the exchange of the ratification documents, i.e. on 21 December 2013.
