Minister Daniel Mitov held a meeting today with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Sofia Emil Zulfugar oglu Karimov. They discussed the recent official visit of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to Bulgaria and expressed satisfaction with the fact that it has given a new impetus to bilateral Bulgarian-Azerbaijani economic, trade and political relations and has drawn new and wider prospects for their development.

The newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria in Astana Vasil Petkov presented his credentials to President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
