NATO foreign ministers discussed Syria, Georgia and Afghanistan

“We support the national coalition of Syrian opposition forces, as an important step to ending the bloodshed in Syria and achieving a political solution to the crisis. We encourage the efforts towards a unified political platform for all communities in Syria, regardless of ethnic, religious or any other affiliation, leading to the development of a future Syria as a democratic secular state,” Foreign Minister Nickolay Mladenov said during a meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Brussels.
