Position of the MFA on DPRK‘s intentions to launch an “earth observation satellite”

We are deeply concerned over DPRK’s intentions to launch an “earth observation satellite” by using ballistic missile technology. Such action would clearly violate UN Security Council resolutions 1718 (2006), 1874 (2009), 2087 (2013) and 2094 (2013) and all international agreements. Such unlawful act would constitute a threat to peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula.
