Bulgaria opens а Consulate in the Democratic Republic of Congo

Тhe government decided to open an Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Democratic Republic of Congo and  Teodora Ignatova will be appointed for the post of Honorary Consul. The Consulate will be located in the city of Lubumbashi with a consular district covering the territory of Katanga province.

The opening of Honorary Consulate and the appointment of Teodora Ignatova, a major shareholder in the Geoscience company, for Honorary Consul of the Republic of Bulgaria in the DRC is an important step for developing and further strengthening the Bulgarian- Congolese relations. It will allow to increase the opportunities for the development of the political, economic and cultural ties between the two countries and for attracting foreign investment in the country.

With another decision, the Kazakh citizen Anvar Osin was appointed Honorary Consul of Bulgaria in Kazakhstan. The seat is in the city of Karaganda and the consular district covers the areas Karagandy, Western Kazakh, Aktyubinsk, Kostanajska, Akmolinska , North- Kazakh, Pavlodar and Eastern Kazakh. Anvar Abzaletdinovic Osin is a respected figure in Karaganda and in the Karagandy province. His public positions and institutional contacts will be useful for the further intensification of the relations and the cooperation between Bulgaria and the Kazakhstan provinces. His appointment as Honorary Consul will be in support of a few thousands of Bulgarians in the country.
