MFA participated in the “Manager for a Day” initiative

For first year the Ministry of Foreign Affairs took part in the "Manager for a Day" initiative.

The 11th-grade student Rumqna Peneva from  II English Language School in Sofia took the post of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Kristian Vigenin.

Together with him, she participated in a regular session of the government and afterwards with the other young ministers she visited the building of the Council of Ministers.

"The Minister for a day" was introduced to  the structure and functions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Rumqna Peneva met with the Deputy Foreign Minister Todor Churov, the Head of the political cabinet Rosen Rufev and the Parliamentary secretary Nevena Alexieva, who presented to her the activities of the institution.

The working meeting of Minister Kristian Vigenin with representatives of various institutions was the final appointment on the busy schedule.

 
"Manager for a Day" is a national initiative of "Junior Achievement Bulgaria", which is held for the 13th consecutive year. This year's edition attracted more than 1000 students who had the opportunity to hold for one day  managerial positions in 350 institutions and companies. The initiative is under the patronage of the Prime Minister Plamen Oresharski and for first time all ministries participate in the initiative.
