The Council of Ministers appointed new Consuls General to Dubai and Istanbul

The government appointed the diplomats Bogdan Kolarov and Angel Angelov to the post Consul General of Bulgaria to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and to Istanbul, Turkey.
The aim of the government's decision is to strengthen the political and the trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and the UAE, where there is a large untapped potential.
The decision of the Council of Ministers will improve the performance of the Consulate in Istanbul, especially with regard to the protection of the rights and interests of the Bulgarian natural and legal persons, the Bulgarian cultural and historical heritage and support of the Bulgarian Chairmanship-in-Office of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation.
