Kristian Vigenin held a working lunch with ambassadors of the Asian countries

Minister of Foreign Affairs Kristian Vigenin held today a working lunch with the heads of missions of the Asian countries, accredited in Sofia. They discussed the opportunities for intensification in 2014 of the relations both bilaterally and within the framework of the cooperation between the regional organizations in Europe and Asia.
Minister Vigenin introduced to the Asian ambassadors the main priorities of the Bulgarian government in both internal and foreign policy aspect. According to him, the government has the political will to strengthen the friendship and the cooperation with the Asian countries, giving them an important role in the Bulgarian foreign policy.
A particular emphasis was placed on strengthening the trade and economic ties, and the active exchange in the fields of culture and education.
