Katya Deleva presented her credentials to the President of the Republic of Botswana

On September 10, the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of South Africa- Katya Deleva, presented her credentials to the President of the Republic of Botswana, Lieutenant General Seretse Khama Ian Khama. During their conversation, the Bulgarian Ambassador confirmed the desire of our country to develop active cooperation with Botswana in areas of mutual interest. Among the topics discussed were the relations between Bulgaria and the neighboring countries, and the recent events in the African south and the Middle East.

Options for the development of cooperation in areas such as tourism , agriculture, energy, education ,and cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries by initiating the signing of a cooperation protocol, were discussed during the preceding meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Pandu Skelemani. They highlighted the importance of bilateral visits at high and the highest level, as well as visits of business delegations with the goal of developing trade and economic relations.
