27 August 2013 News
On August 27 2013, Bulgaria’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Russian Federation, Boyko Kotsev, presented the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abdulaziz Kamilov, with his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In ensuing talks, a good assessment was given of bilateral relations and political dialogue at high and the highest level.

Given the shared view that trade and economic co-operation does not meet the potential of the two countries, opportunities were discussed regarding increasing trade and giving impetus to the effectiveness of the intergovernmental commissions on trade and economic and scientific and technical co-operation.

Ambassador Kotsev and Minister Kamilov praised the collaborative efforts within the United Nations and other international organizations, including the EU and NATO.
