Deputy Minister Ivanka Tasheva Meets with Csaba Rada, Deputy State Secretary for European and North American Relations at the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs

On 18 September 2026, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivanka Tasheva held a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with Csaba Rada, Deputy State Secretary for European and North American Relations at the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who was visiting Bulgaria.
The two sides noted with satisfaction the dynamic development of bilateral relations and the active political dialogue at various levels. They discussed opportunities to deepen cooperation in various areas of mutual interest, with particular attention given to the further development of trade and economic relations between the two countries and opportunities to promote investment, as well as cooperation in the areas of energy security and combating illegal migration.
The discussions also covered current issues on the European and international agenda, including EU enlargement, Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine and security in the Black Sea region.
The Bulgarian side was also represented at the meeting by Yordan Parvanov, Director-General for European Affairs, and Stela Dimitrova, Director of the Bilateral European Cooperation Directorate at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
