‘Georgia’s European Way: the EU Eastern partnership, with a view to the forthcoming summit in Vilnius’

This is the main theme of the 10th international conference, in whichj Minister Kristian Vigenin is participate on July 11 and 12, in Batumi, Georgia.

The main topics that the participants are discussing are related to security and stability in Europe, economic prospects and the challenges of democracy and the rule of law, bilateral and multilateral relations. Special emphasis in the debate will be on the process of the integration of Georgiainto European and Euro-Atlantic structures and success achieved in this field. Particular attention will be paid to Georgia’s relations with the EU and the upcoming summit in Vilnius.

During the forum, the Foreign Minister will meet Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili, his Georgian counterpart Maia Panjikidze, Chairman of the Parliament David Usupashvili and State Minister on European and Euro-Atlantic integration Alex Petriashvili. Kristian Vigenin will meet with his counterparts from Estonia and Slovakia - Urmas Paet and Miroslav Laychek.
