Minister Petrova Meets with Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares Bueno

Minister of Foreign Affairs Velislava Petrova held a meeting with her Spanish counterpart, José Manuel Albares Bueno, on the margins of the Ministerial Council Meeting of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), which took place in Paris on 3 and 4 June.
During the meeting, the two ministers discussed the strong bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Spain and reaffirmed their shared commitment to further deepening them. They expressed their readiness to expand cooperation in a number of areas of mutual interest, including defence, energy, high technologies and the digital sector.
Minister Petrova and Minister Albares Bueno underscored the importance of maintaining an active political dialogue and pursuing joint efforts to strengthen economic and technological ties between the two countries.
