03 July 2013 News

“I learnt with regret about the death of Mr Stoyan Ganev. At this difficult time for you and your family, I would like to express, on my behalf and that of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, condolences on your bereavement.

Minister Stoyan Ganev was one of the emblematic politicians in the democratic changes in Bulgaria. His work as a member of the VII Grand National Assembly, as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs (1991-1992) and as Chairman of the 47th session of the United Nations General Assembly left a deep trace in our recent history. We bow in tribute to his great memory,” Minister Vigenin said in the letter.
