Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ivan Naydenov Awarded the Ministry’s Highest Distinction, the “Golden Laurel Branch”, by Minister Nadezhda Neynsky

During an official ceremony at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Foreign Affairs Nadezhda Neynsky presented Permanent Secretary Ivan Naydenov with the honorary insignia “Golden Laurel Branch” – the highest distinction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in recognition of his contribution to Bulgarian diplomacy and his many years of professional service.
In her address, Minister Neynsky emphasised that Ivan Naydenov is a diplomat who, throughout his professional career, has consistently and steadfastly upheld Bulgaria’s chosen foreign policy course. She noted that the country’s contemporary international standing and positioning are, to a significant extent, the result of the efforts of individuals who believed in the chosen path and carried a clear sense of responsibility in defending Bulgaria’s national interests.
In his remarks, Ivan Naydenov thanked the leadership and staff of the Ministry for their support and professional partnership over the years and wished Bulgarian diplomats continued foreign policy successes in the future.
