Minister Neynski held a meeting with the French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Jean-Noël Barrot, during her participation in the meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels. In the course of the discussion, France’s support for regional policy in the context of enlargement was reaffirmed.
The two expressed satisfaction with the progress achieved in the field of defence and discussed specific ideas for the institutional development of certain European structures.
The Foreign Ministers of Bulgaria and France also discussed the situation in the Middle East and Iran, and reaffirmed their shared support for Ukraine.
